Finding the right communications solution: It’s time to look beyond TIPT

Communications platforms have been cloud-based for many years now. By leveraging the cloud, enterprises can bring together voice, video, and messaging onto the one platform, and with presence and call forwarding features, staff don’t need to be physically located within the office. What a lot of IT leaders don’t realise is that the cloud communications platform that they’re on can be so much more versatile and productive.

Live call recording and data analytics allow organisations to introduce a real-time feedback loop and deep insights into the performance of their communications, while iPhone and Android apps make those remote interactions even more seamless and robust. Telstra’s TIPT has been slow to introduce these more modern features, and while it still does the job, and many businesses have an “if it isn’t broke” approach to their communications, the reality is that other communications platforms can do more.
